About me
My name is Ammaarah Zayna and I am a freelance writer, speaker and consultant. I trained as a gender-based violence advocate, with specialisms in supporting young people and those belonging to marginalised backgrounds, like myself.
I operate within an intersectional, decolonial and abolitionist framework that is integrated throughout all the services I provide.
I am also a journalist and creative writer.
Consultancy
I work with charities and organisations to create models of best practice with regards to gender-based violence. This includes policy work, creative input, training staff, and strategic planning for inclusive practice.
I am an experienced facilitator with content available for people of all ages and abilities. My workshops are tailor-made to the needs of your organisation and/or young people.
